Streets of Monaco

For me, this years coolest work in production is the Streets of Monaco superyacht by Yacht Island Design.
The concept: A 155 metre floating island, recreating Monaco with a fully functional go-kart circuit, casino, full length swimming pool, nightclub, sea level 'beach' decks, and even a submarine which can be released from one of the submerged hulls... this is a one of a kind concept, bringing land based architecture into a superstructure.
The yacht can accomodate 16 guests, 70 crew and there is even the 'Prince's Palace' apartment for the lucky owner, covering the entire bow of the upper deck. Not too shabby, huh?

Man really can do anything...almost!

If you are a beach lover like me you will do anything to get to a hot beach, but even I am going to steer clear of this one. Regardless of this being extremely cool, is it going a bit too far?
Seagaia is an artificial beach in Japan...it even provides surfing all under one dome!
