Wedding Belles
Everyone loves a wedding, a reason to celebrate and a royal wedding makes it that much more exciting.
I woke up at 7am this morning and immediately turned on the TV to watch the start of 'The Royal Wedding', by 9am I knew every detail involved, who was invited, who was wearing who, and what was going to happen next, to the minute. I almost didn't want to leave my room to switch TVs just incase I might miss the first glimpse of Kate's incredible Sarah Burton dress, a dress that was definitely worth all the suspense. Kate was a beautiful bride and I know which designer I'll be calling when it's my turn!
Like most Brits today I am feeling very patriotic so I wanted to dedicate today's post to our new happy couple, William and Kate and share a few wedding photos that I love.

Cowboys & Indians for Adults
My brother once had a Cowboy & Indian's party for his 5th birthday. I was only young at the time too but I remember the tipis my mom placed around our garden so well. Something about being inside those little tents made you feel so safe. I think I myself probably sat in there acting as my alter ego at the time, Pocahontas.
Since that day, I have been big a fan of tipis so you can imagine my excitement when I came across these beautiful grown up tipis by Montreal based designer Alexis Tricoire. The tipis are wrapped in a living blanket of grass and ivy and even work as an outdoor bedroom (I wouldn't recommend sleeping there every night but once in a while might bring us adults a little bit of excitement). Very 21st Century Pocahontas.

Wolf & I
The songstress records under the alias Oh Land, a twist on her middle name, and has already won over the likes of Pharrell Williams and Rihanna—not to mention Missoni M, for whom she’s a brand ambassador.
Not only has she got the pipes of angel...she's beautiful too! Definitely one to watch!

Versatile Blogger Award
Last week I was kindly given the Versatile Blogger Award by the lovely Adjo at Statement Art, Design & Fashion (http://www.statementadf.com). It was by no means expected but nevertheless very much appreciated!
The idea of the award is to explore, discover and recognize great bloggers around the world. They might be blogs that you have discovered and have been following for a while or even ones that you have just come across and love. Its a great way to get to know the blogger community better and find some great new blogs to add to your follow list.
So now that I have introduced it, the way that the Versatile Blogger Award works is this.
Once being awarded you must follow a few simple rules:
Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog in your post.
Tell us 7 things about yourself or your blog.
Award 7 recently discovered bloggers
Get in touch with those lucky bloggers and let them know about their award.
Now heres the hard part...7 things about me (lets hope that they're interesting):
1.) I am one of 5 children, smack in the middle, but I don't think I suffer from middle child syndrome.
2.) I love finding new and exciting things to share with all of you that follow my blog.
3.) I started a blog because I always found things that I thought were amazing and thought, 'Wow, I need to share this stuff with people! They're missing out!'
4.) For me, there is no better holiday than sitting on the beach, with a Bloody Mary and a good book.
5.) My prize possessions? My King Charles Cavaliers, Brandy and Chelsea.
6.) If you're looking for me and cant find me, your best bet is probably at Snog on Brewer St. I'm addicted to Frozen Yoghurt.
7.) Something I couldn't live without...My converse.

NOWNESS.com presents: Richard Ashcroft's "Are You Ready?"
We all used to love The Verve. You couldn't listen to Bittersweet Symphony without singing along, at least I couldn't so when I heard that former Verve frontman was making a go of it on his own, I immediately went on a search to find out just what he was doing.
The result? "Are You Ready?", a funk-infused rock anthem that samples Bee Gees B-side “Our Time.”, the first single off of his solo album 'The United Nation of Sound'.
“The dream’s always been to create music inspired by Marvin Gaye and the legends of soul,” Ashcroft says.
Take a look at the amazing "Are You Ready?" music video by Giorgio Testi. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did. Watch Are You Ready? on YouTube

Brown Boutique TLV
I love boutique hotels, something about the small scale of them always makes me feel like everything is more personal, more catered to me. On my recent trip to Tel Aviv I came across a new boutique hotel, the beautifully decorated Brown TLV.
Described as an 'Urban Hotel' it is true to its word. Based in the center of Tel Aviv, bordering beautiful Neve Tsedek, full of boutiquey shops and cafes, and trendy Rothschild Blvd, whilst being close to Nachalat Binyamin, Sheinkin, Carmel Market and being only 10 minutes from the beach, what more could you ask for?
The hotel is the perfect place to sit back, relax and catch up with friends after a long day of tanning or cultural overload. Have a drink in the living room or on the sun deck. Pop in when you are next in Tel Aviv, for a breath of fresh air and a break from the mega-hotels.
Visit http://www.browntlv.com/ for more information and bookings.

The Do-Good Dame

Thanks to Vivienne we can all do something to help out, by wearing one of her 'Chari-tees', T-Shirts designed for comic relief, available at T.K.Maxx. She has always had a passion for things that matter and has never been afraid to make a political or cultural statement through fashion.
Working closely with Comic Relief on the range of T-shirts, Westwood comments, “I once did a collection called ‘I am Expensiv’, meaning that we are supported by the suffering of the whole world in our privilege bubbles and we must try and help people a bit. Comic Relief does a lot and I try to help where I can. My main problem at the minute is climate change. I do believe we are an endangered species and I think it is great to try and do anything you possibly can even if to help just one person. But Comic Relief does more than that.”
Many of Vivienne Westwoods’s collections take inspiration from history and the Red Nose Day T-shirts are no exception. They feature bold black and white prints of historical figures and icons. So, what do you say? Go grab yours and do your bit for Comic Relief! You'll look good too!

The Best Pop Up Yet.
Today I came across Bottega Veneta's 'Salone Del Mobile' living collection.
From handbags to homewares, they are a company that I adore. I always marvel at how elegant and stylish their furniture looks and how just a few pieces of their furniture can make a place look so effortlessly chic. Using them to do up your home may cause a dent in your pocket, but I guarantee that it will be a dent well worth it.

And the winner is...
Each year, like many fashion addicts around the world, I await the Oscars. Its always so exciting to see what the well known designers will come up with and a great chance to get to know up and coming designers' work.
Plus, its always fun to see which actresses can pull it off best.

High Society
I've never been one for drugs , it's not that I really have much against them, I just never thought the whole experience was worth my while. However, I have always wondered what exactly the experience was like and what the history was behind it all... High Society seems like the best way of finding out, without me having to dive in to the activity.
When I was told about the exhibition, I wasn't really sure what I should expect and decided to look into it further; so I visited their website and came across this video, which made me want to check it out even more.
From ancient Egyptian poppy tinctures to Victorian cocaine eye drops, Native American peyote rites to the salons of the French Romantics, mind-altering drugs have a rich history. 'High Society' will explore the paths by which these drugs were first discovered - from apothecaries' workshops to state-of-the-art laboratories - and how they came to be simultaneously fetishised and demonised in today’s culture.
The Exhibition will be taking place at The Wellcome Collection on Euston Road until the 27th of February.

In the words of Finding Nemo: Fish are friends.
We all like to spoil ourselves sometimes, retail therapy, massages, facials, manicures and of course pedicures but Aqua Sheko provides us with a very different experience. Think sitting in a glamorous, dark room with your girlfriends, sipping tea or champagne, while hundreds of little fish in a pool of warm water do all the work...talk about cutting out the middle man, or shall we say pedicurist in this case.
These finned friends use their suction-cupped mouths to lift dry skin away, exfoliating without damaging the healthy cells underneath - revealing soft and beautiful feet, pain free! No more forced conversation with your nail therapist, no more flinching when you think they are just about to come too close with the nail clippers...crisis averted! Just sit back, relax and enjoy the tickly feeling of these exotic pedicurists.
If squeamish, I would recommend closing your eyes. If not, Aqua Sheko recommends "allowing yourself to be mesmerized by the flash of the silvery scales as they dart through the water". Sounds kind of alluring?
