Wedding Belles

Everyone loves a wedding, a reason to celebrate and a royal wedding makes it that much more exciting.

I woke up at 7am this morning and immediately turned on the TV to watch the start of 'The Royal Wedding', by 9am I knew every detail involved, who was invited, who was wearing who, and what was going to happen next, to the minute. I almost didn't want to leave my room to switch TVs just incase I might miss the first glimpse of Kate's incredible Sarah Burton dress, a dress that was definitely worth all the suspense. Kate was a beautiful bride and I know which designer I'll be calling when it's my turn!

Like most Brits today I am feeling very patriotic so I wanted to dedicate today's post to our new happy couple, William and Kate and share a few wedding photos that I love.

Pamela Love. Classic Collection

If you are anything like me, you will like jewelry that other people don't have, the non conventional, original 'one of a kind' type. So I thought I'd fill you in on a secret, Pamela Love.

The New York based designer creates the most eclectically beautiful jewelry, each piece is unique, hand made and can make any outfit.

Pamela's signature pieces tend to include elements of nature and are hand carved and cast in precious metals. She is inspired by religious imagery, traditional African and South American jewelry and often collaborates with other designers for the likes of Zac Posen, Yigal Azrouel, Phillip Leff and Jordan Sullivan.

To bring some of Pamela Love into your jewelry box, visit www.pamelalovenyc.com. Definitely a must have.

Poppy King for No.7

After being away for a week I am now home and excited to start blogging again!

I don't usually do reviews but I found a great new lipstick that I wanted to share with all of my viewers. I am usually quite picky about what make up I wear, especially what brand I wear, so I can say that I was a little skeptical before trying Poppy King's range for No.7, but as soon as 'Allure' was applied I had a change of heart.

I can never find a lipstick shade that I like, I usually stand in the store for what feels like forever, trying to find one that actually works for me (and doesn't make me resemble a clown), before giving up.

Allure is a beautiful, natural, nude shade which I wore throughout my whole holiday in Israel. It's just one of those lipsticks that is an instant 'pick me up'. I'm yet to try out the rest of the range but will be stopping off at Boots to do so asap. Go get your Poppy King for No.7 lipstick or Click here to view the entire range. Who says that make up has to be so expensive?!

Disclosure: Sponsored post. All views and opinions expressed are my own.

Cowboys & Indians for Adults

My brother once had a Cowboy & Indian's party for his 5th birthday. I was only young at the time too but I remember the tipis my mom placed around our garden so well. Something about being inside those little tents made you feel so safe. I think I myself probably sat in there acting as my alter ego at the time, Pocahontas.

Since that day, I have been big a fan of tipis so you can imagine my excitement when I came across these beautiful grown up tipis by Montreal based designer Alexis Tricoire. The tipis are wrapped in a living blanket of grass and ivy and even work as an outdoor bedroom (I wouldn't recommend sleeping there every night but once in a while might bring us adults a little bit of excitement). Very 21st Century Pocahontas.

Wolf & I

Check out the live cover of Wolf & I, just one of the amazing new singles by Danish singer Nanna Oland Fabricius better known as Oh Land. Her influences range from Bjork to Britney Spears, which may explain why she is so fabulous.

The songstress records under the alias Oh Land, a twist on her middle name, and has already won over the likes of Pharrell Williams and Rihanna—not to mention Missoni M, for whom she’s a brand ambassador.
Not only has she got the pipes of angel...she's beautiful too! Definitely one to watch!

Jewellery by Tom Binns

I love jewellery by Tom Binns. The way he combines classic, Dada and gothic themes is beautiful.  Each one of his pieces are so intricately made, just like a piece of art.

Binns has now adorned icons ranging from Beyonce to Cate Blanchett and Michelle Obama to Lady Gaga. Which is your favourite? Will he capture you too?

Head over to Dover Street Market or http://www.tombinnsdesign.com/ to bag a piece of your own, I know I'll be buying the safety pin necklace.

Prada SS 2011 Campaign

I came across this video campaign for Prada's Spring Summer 2011 Collection a few days ago. The video is so animated, enjoyable to watch and really brings the clothes to life. I am certain that it was extremely fun to make. Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think.

Away in the clouds...

When I was young, I would spend all my time in the treehouse in the back of the garden, be it with all my friends or for some alone time. My treehouse could not be measured against these but it still felt like a magical, invite only, secret place . I'm not even sure that my siblings and I allowed my parents to come up. Now at 23 years old, I still love treehouses so I wanted to share a few incredible  ones with you.
